Laguna City, Block 10, 19th Floor Flat C, sits at 15 Laguna Street in Lam Tin, with a unit area of around 517 sq ft. CLAY Interior designed this home in a distinctive Japanese vintage style, blending Japanese aesthetics with vintage touches. Warm timber, sage green and floral pattern make it a characterful home, with care taken from material selection through to layout.
Floral bathroom tiles
The bathroom is the boldest gesture. Behind the basin and in the shower, floral tiles in orange and green meet bronze-toned taps and shower fittings, and the vintage mood arrives at once. A mirror cabinet sits above the basin with an open shelf below, its concealed light falling across the pattern. A white floating vanity carries a round vessel basin, a glass screen separates the shower, and the remaining walls stay a plain warm tone so the tiles can lead.
Bedrooms and kitchen
The master bedroom has a sage green feature wall behind a pale headboard, white wardrobes with a glass display column set between them, and a floating dressing table with a rounded edge. The children’s room continues the white cabinetry, adding sage green corner shelves for soft toys. In the kitchen, wood-grain cabinets meet a white worktop, open cubbies hold bowls, a strip of light runs under the wall cabinets, and the washing machine and fridge slot neatly into place. Plants and artwork line the hallway, where timber flooring leads to the rooms.
In closing
Vintage is about warmth, not imitation. Timber, floral tile and sage green each play their part in 517 sq ft, adding up to a home that wears well.
