Who we are
This website (clayinterior.com) is operated by Diversity Development Limited, trading as Clay Interior. Our address is Room 801, Block A, Sun Fung Centre, 88 Kwok Shui Road, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong.
This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use the site or submit an enquiry, in line with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we collect:
- Required: your name, phone number and email address.
- Optional: your unit situation, floor area, property address, number of residents, preferred style and a description of your requirements.
How we use it
We do not use your personal data for unrelated purposes without your consent, and we do not sell it.
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation, quotation or studio visit.
- To assess your project and propose suitable design and renovation options.
- To perform any service contract with you, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Processing and disclosure
Enquiries are delivered to our studio mailbox through the email service provider Resend, and the site is hosted by Vercel. These providers process data only to deliver their service, and their servers may be outside Hong Kong.
If you contact us by WhatsApp or phone, that communication is handled by the platform or carrier and is subject to their own privacy policies.
We do not disclose your personal data to third parties other than these providers, partners needed to deliver the service you ask for, and where the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect anonymous usage data such as the pages viewed, time spent, device and browser type, and approximate location. We use it to understand how the site is used and to improve its content. This data is sent to Google, whose servers may be outside Hong Kong. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) to stop Google Analytics tracking you. We do not use advertising cookies.
Links to social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Behance) lead to third-party sites whose privacy practices are not covered by this policy.
Some portfolio images may be served from a third-party image host. When an image loads, that host receives your IP address and browser details.
Retention and security
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted or anonymised once they are no longer needed.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, use or loss. No transmission over the internet is entirely risk-free, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
Under the Ordinance you have the right to:
- Ask whether we hold personal data about you and request a copy.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to stop using your data for direct marketing.

We may revise this policy from time to time; changes will be posted here with the date.
