Le Pont sits at 99 So Kwun Wat Road in Tuen Mun, with a saleable area of around 471 sq ft. CLAY Interior designed this flat in a light-luxury style, weaving spatial feel, practicality and aesthetics together through a palette of pale grey timber, marble-effect worktops and black-and-white contrast, so the home feels comfortable and stylish within a limited footprint.
Breakfast bar and open kitchen
Living room, dining area and kitchen line up along a single axis. One wall is clad in pale timber-effect panelling with applied mouldings, topped by white wall cabinets with metal handles and a strip of light that washes the marble-effect worktop below. Midway, the worktop turns out into a breakfast bar with two stools, taking the place of a dining table. A curved ceiling bulkhead sweeps over the bar, with a black pendant at its centre. Opposite, the TV wall has a floating cabinet lit from beneath and staggered box shelves for books and objects. The kitchen itself is in glossy black with white upper cabinets, a deliberate contrast with the pale living room.
Bedroom and study
The bedroom headboard wall has a textured finish with symmetrical wall lights, beside grey-white full-height wardrobes, and the window ledge holds a row of books. The study pairs a white full-height wardrobe with open shelving and a desk with a stone-effect top running towards the window, plus a lounge chair. By the door, a low cabinet with a curved end softens the turn.
In closing
Every detail was considered, reflecting CLAY Interior’s commitment to quality and giving the owners a home they can be happy with. At 471 sq ft, there is still room to breathe.
