許多新婚夫婦在策劃第一間屋時，往往出於對未來的焦慮而要求「越多儲物櫃越好」。但作為一間深諳空間心理學的室內設計公司，我們必須溫和地指出：過度擠壓生活動線以換取隱藏收納，反而會扼殺日常的呼吸感 (Sense of Space)，讓原本充滿期待的家變成壓抑的倉庫。

The Solution

為了解決儲物與空間感的矛盾，我們摒棄了傳統的到頂大櫃，改為採用懸挑式結構 (Cantilever Structure) 重新規劃玄關與電視儲物區，令沉重的量體產生輕盈的懸浮感。面對香港住宅無法避免的結構橫樑 (Structural Beams)，我們拒絕將整個天花板降低封平，而是巧妙運用弧形天花修飾 (Curved Ceiling Transition)，柔化結構直角並引導視覺向上延伸。針對未來可能迎接的小生命，我們在現有的開放式佈局 (Open Plan) 中預留了彈性隔間 (Flexible Partitioning) 的軌道，目前作為兩人的多功能室 (Multi-purpose Room)，日後只需簡單調整便能成為舒適的 BB 房。

The Aesthetic

在視覺層次上，我們拒絕毫無生氣的純白極簡。客廳牆身大面積塗抹了石灰塗料 (Limewash Paint)，並以暖灰 (Warm Greige) 作為基調，在自然光的照射下展現出柔和且充滿層次的漫反射 (Diffuse Reflection)。電視主牆則局部點綴了未經高度打磨的洞石 (Travertine)，我們刻意保留其天然的孔洞紋理 (Porous Texture) 與氧化痕跡 (Patina)，配合自然亞麻質地的梳化，讓空間不僅滿足工程的實用性，更擁有經得起時間考驗的觸感與溫度。

The Hook

When planning their first home, many newlyweds insist on "as many cabinets as possible" out of anxiety for future needs. However, as an interior design company deeply rooted in spatial psychology, we gently challenge this notion: over-compressing your living flow for the sake of hidden storage suffocates the sense of space, turning a hopeful sanctuary into an oppressive warehouse.

The Solution

To resolve the tension between storage and spatial flow, we discarded conventional floor-to-ceiling cabinets. Instead, we implemented a Cantilever Structure for the entryway and media console, creating an illusion of weightlessness. Addressing the inevitable structural beams common in Hong Kong apartments, we refused the standard practice of lowering the entire ceiling. We utilized a Curved Ceiling Transition to soften the harsh right angles, gracefully drawing the eye upward. Anticipating a future addition to the family, we integrated Flexible Partitioning tracks within the current Open Plan layout. Currently serving as a Multi-purpose Room for the couple, it can seamlessly transition into a cozy nursery when the time comes.

The Aesthetic

Aesthetically, we reject lifeless, sterile minimalism. The main living area walls are finished with Limewash Paint in a sophisticated Warm Greige, generating a rich, textured diffuse reflection under natural sunlight. The media feature wall is accented with unpolished Travertine. By intentionally preserving its natural porous texture and subtle patina, paired with natural linen upholstery, the space transcends mere engineering practicality—it offers a tactile warmth that stands the test of time.
